Changes to the poster after audience feedback

I have decided to take the audience feedback of the bad points of the website and do something about them, this would means that the products quality will be heightened and the audience will get a product that is more suited to their opinions.

Old poster

New poster

As you can see I have made a few changes to the poster, Many were based on the audience feedback however I also added in some changes myself because I felt as though the poster resembled an existing magazine too much so I decided to add in a few new features so that the poster was more unique to my film.

Things I changed
  • One audience member thought that the font size on the institutional information should be larger, this is why I made the font size larger so that it would be easily readable.
  • Another asked for the 'summer 2012' and the tag line of the film to be bolder, to do this I changed the 'summer 2012' to a bold font and increased the size of the tag line
  • I removed the light from the picture as this is something that 2 of the audience members picked up on and was easy to change.
  • The final change from the audience that I made was to the small Polaroid, the user stated that it looked stretched; I used the transform tool in order to shrink the width of the Polaroid and photo to make it look more convincing and less stretched.
  • I also added in my own change because I felt as though my poster looked too much like my style model. I added in 5 smaller Polaroids to the background so that it looked like the Polaroids from the film had been thrown down. It also made it so that my poster differed from that of my style model.
