We have decided to screen our trailer to a group in our target audience to get their opinions on the trailer.
We are going to ask them the following questions, and film their answers so that we can get their opinion on the trailer; what they think works/doesn't work so that we know if we have successfully targeted the audience.
Questions
1. What do you think the film is about?
2. Does it appeal to you as the target audience?
3. What genre do you think the trailer portrays?
4. Do you think that the trailer follows typical codes & conventions of a film trailer?
5. Which technique do you think works the best?
6. What element of the trailer could be improved?
