The layout of a poster

I have decided to look at how a poster is put together and the key aspects that are included.

Even though the certificate wasn't included on this poster I feel as though it is a key aspect of posters and I will definitely include the certificate on my poster.

Things to remember

• The institutional information should be a smaller font than all other text
• The date must be easily visible and stand out
• The actors name must stand out - the characters name doesn't need to be included
• Having a significant object, character or setting is the best way to go
• The name of the film must be a primary focus
• The tag line for the film should be of a larger font than the institutional information but a small font than the actors name.
