Next we moved onto the bedroom scene; this is where we had planned to have George eating his breakfast and then he receives a text; we firstly cut down the footage so that the different angles we had filmed would merge together at the right time. We decided to remove the long shot because we felt as though the costume we had chosen to use was too comical and didn't work with the seriousness of the rest of the footage. We merged together the mid shot and the over the shoulder shot as we felt that these worked well together; to do this we made sure that the moment when he picked up the phone matched in both cases. We felt as though this shortened version worked better than the planned edit because it made it so that the audience could tell that something was going on but it didn't drag on and reveal too much narrative.
We also had time to complete two other sections so we decided to go for the post bit and the e-mail scene as we felt these would be relatively easy to do. Again we cut a lot of the proposed footage out as we felt it dragged on and the audience may loose interest. this is why we just had George receiving these messages from the stalker so that the audience would gain insight without fully understanding what was happening; This would mean that the audience would want to find out exactly what was happening and they would want to go an watch the film.
