Changes I would have made to the website

I would have liked to make some changes to the website that I had created so that I would have acted upon the feedback that I gained from my target audience. However I was unable to do this due to lack of knowledge of the software and problems with the server that I had uploaded the website to.

I would have liked to...

• 'The girls head had been cut off slightly which lets it down' two audience members commented on this and I would have liked to fix this issue as I could add in a new higher quality photo. I would make sure that I don't have mistakes like this in future tasks so that my products are of better quality.
• I would have liked to change the background from white to black to make it so that the page looked more sinister and would fit in better with the genre. I also feel as though this would have solved the 'boring background' issue that one of the audience members had.
• I would have changed the layout of the page slightly; I could have included two actor/actress profiles because I feel that both of the actors have equal screen time and they should both be acknowledged as main actors. I would do this in future websites because I now feel that I have the knowledge of the software 'Dreamweaver' so I would find it easier to set the page out and make the most of the space that I have.
• I would have also have liked to give the audience (user) the option to enlarge the trailer that I included. as this would mean they could easily read the text on the screen and the trailer would be easier to see. I was unable to do this due to lack of knowledge of the software that I was using (flash). I would have liked to learn how to create this feature in a more effective way however it is something to plan in future.
