Editing: Session 6

We had slightly longer to spend in this session than the previous session; This is why we decided to start on the 'trick section' at the beginning. We felt as though we still had too many tricks so we cut out a few more trick so that we only had a few that would engage the audience without it becoming too boring. we didn't want effects that we added to be as soft as a fade as we wanted the scenes to jump around a bit so that it looked as though it had been filmed at different times (when she is stalking him). We decided to move each of the tricks next to one another and let it play through. We felt as though the 'cuts' would give the user the sense that something was going to happen and would engage them into the trailer at the start.

We then added in the 'snapshots' to do this we used the modify tab and 'make freeze frame' in order to take a screen print of the footage that was being played.

Once we took the screen print we could drag it from the 'viewer' and into the time line after cutting it down we added a border around the 'image' by using the built in effects and added in a white/grey border so that it would look like the Polaroids that link with the stalker scene.

This made it so that the trick would start it would take a picture and then finish playing, We felt as though this edit fit in well with the storyline and would help link our products together.
