Sirens
http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/games/serverdownload/hlds/cstrike/sound/box_posfx.wav
I decided to research into the sounds of sirens as I wanted to find out if we could make the sounds ourselves, we need siren noises for one of the scenes and I wanted to see how complex the sounds were, I think that a basic siren noise could be created using garage band so this is how we will create it.
Car crash
http://www.ndrr.com/rmr_faq/Sounds/car_crash.wav
A car crash noise would be quite hard to make as we need to sounds of brakes and also of the crash however using simple objects such as toys and glass bottles means we can create a noise we could record in order to create the resemblance of a car crash.
Heartbeat
http://www.dundee.ac.uk/medther/Cardiology/audio/ps.wav
I think that we would be able to create the sound of a heartbeat by using drum noises. as the quality of the heartbeat noise in this example is quite poor, I think that using drums sounds will be better as a solid loud noise can be made in order for the base of our soundtrack.
Flatline
http://www.shadowsbastion.com/library/media/audio/wavs/FLATLINE.WAV
To create a successful flat line a long monotone 'beep' needs to be recorded, this can be found from tones on mobile phones to fire alarms so this can be easily recorded.
Cheering
http://www.steelersinhoboken.com/Downloads/Wavs/Crowd%20Cheering.wav
The cheering in this example wasn't the type of cheering that we needed, the cheering we need is from the celebration when the child scores the goal, I think that it would be best recording the sound itself on audacity or even alongside the action and the sound level can be adjusted in order to make the sound more prominent.
Pill bottle
http://www.soundjay.com/misc/pill-bottle-2.wav
This can be easily recorded using any sort of medicine bottles or capsule packaging found in all households so this can just be recorded and made louder and added to the action in order to create an effective sound.
Heavy breathing
http://noproblo.dayjo.org/GE/GE_Breathe.wav
This can also be recorded on a programme such as audacity and added to the trailer in order to make the sound louder and more prominent.
