Test shots

We have completed some recce shots of the locations to see if they work well  for the trailer.

Location 1 - Boys bedroom

This is the first location and the most used location in the trailer. we needed a boys bedroom for the actor to use as his own, even though we could add props such as beer cans and litter, this isn't a very suitable location as their is no shelf for the trophy and picture. We also thought that the actor may be more comfortable in his own bedroom and the scene will be more believable.






Location 2 - football pitch

This was our original idea for the location of the football match as it already has goals and football lines, however it doesn't look like a football pitch as such and we wouldn't have much access to it as it is widely used.

This is the new location for the football match, we have decided on this as it is close to school so the transport of the equipment would be easy to manage. We could also easily arrange for the actors to get there and we can put up some goals for the shot.

We have however decided on the sport hall at Richmond School as our back-up location just in case the weather isn't on our side.









Location 3 - Pub

We originally thought that we wouldn't be able to gain access to a real pub as we are under-age and they are always relatively busy. This is why we thought about the Georgian for our pub location as they are supportive to the arts. however after closer inspection it was impossible to cut out the signs from the shot so it was too clear that it was a theatre and not a pub.

 We thought that we would try a few pubs just in-case and after a few attempts we found a small pub in the centre of town. The Castle Tavern was very willing to have us film in their pub and were even willing to give us a member of staff to act as our barman. This will be the definite location for our pub scene.
