Brainstorm

We have put together a load of ideas in order to plan what sort of movie we would like to make, We have looked at different genres and films we could base our trailer on in order to make the best decision for our own trailer.

We decided that we wanted to do a drama of some sort, In particular we decided on a psychological drama as we thought that a romance or comedy would either turn out really effective or really bad so we didn't want to run the risk. We also went against the idea of a horror or thriller as these can become too common and if ours didn't mark up against existing horrors then it won't be very effective. We decided against a war film or Sci-Fi as we didn't think we had the software or equipment we would need for the special effects. We wanted to target a modern audience and address current issues such as 'drugs' or 'alchohol' or 'social groups', we thought that this was the best idea because we could apply our own knowledge of current issues or situations in order to create a realistic movie.
